Abstract: The BRITE constellation is going to consist of 6 nanosatellites operated as one instrument for two colour ultra-precise photometry of the bright stars. To facilitate that they are equipped in wide-angle CCD cameras. By detection of weak stellar oscillations we aim to perform asteroseismology studies, mostly of blue and red giants. In particular, we would like to figure the efficiency of convection and chemical mixing in their interiors. Two Austrian satellites were already launched and perform final in-orbit tests, while 2 Polish and 2 Canadian satellites are scheduled to be launched in 2013/14.
